January 16: Storytelling for Beginners‐‐‐Everything you always wanted to know about storytelling but were afraid to ask! What to do, where to go, how to find stories of your own. If you love listening to tales and would like to learn to tell them, this workshop will guide you on your way. 1‐4 PM
January 30: My name is Maynard Moose‐‐‐How to create an original puppet
character, bring it to life, and teach it to tell stories. Co‐taught by Maynard Moose, 2009 Ruminant of the Year. 1–4 PM
February 13: Out of Thin Air‐‐‐How to make up original tales to tell. An easy, fool‐proof (even Jack‐proof!) method for making up and telling stories from imagination. Participants are guaranteed to come away with a new story to tell! 1–4 PM
February 20: In Yonder’s Wood‐‐‐(evening concert with Brian Claflin) Traditional ballads and story‐songs from the British Isles, Appalachia and the American West. As performed at the National Storytelling Festival, with a few new surprises! “live performance not to be missed.” ‐‐‐ Richard Taylor, Director, Folk Song Society of Greater Boston. Concert Starts 7:30 PM
February 27: The Day Uncle Walter Ate His Hat‐‐‐Family and personal stories. How to recall them, how to tell them, how to make them truly memorable. 1–4 PM
